Hotel Rooms in Charleston

May 6th, 2008 by Danny

The 2008 National Convention in Charleston this July is expected to draw a large crowd. From several reports, we have apparently booked practically every hotel room in Charleston. There are some people still hoping to get a room.

Typically, some people reserve rooms prior to their state competition, then after competition cancel the rooms they do not need. If you have rooms reserved that you will not need, be sure to cancel them well before June 15. Any room canceled after that date goes out of our room block and will not be available for someone else at the convention rate.

If you don’t have a room, keep calling. Generally, rooms will become available. Also, it is a good idea to ask to be on a waiting list for the hotel of your choice.
