Gower Gulch

Sounds like the title of an old western, it is in a way, but not that old. This gulch is a flood-eroded canyon in Death Valley that demonstrates “a lot of water over a little time can do as much as a little water over a lot of time.” Read the report about a Boston College geologic study here.
