The 2007 National Network of Youth Ministries member survey reports some exciting statistics about youth ministers.*
Over 73% of NNYM members plan annual mission trips for their youth groups.
More importantly, the average tenure for youth ministers has risen. NNYM youth ministers average 11 years in ministry, and 5 years at their current ministry.

*20% of membership reporting equals over 2,500 youth ministers responding. These statistics will vary among churches, but they still reflect encouraging trends.
