A Compass that Doesn’t Point North

November 24th, 2007 by Danny

Just as Jack Sparrow’s compass pointed to what he desired most, Philip Pullman’s Compass points to what he desires–the death of God. As a self-described atheist, Pullman teaches his religion to children through his stories. Sadly, a distorted view of God and Christianity is continually being marketed to children through books and movies.

There is a battle for the hearts and minds of young people. Be informed and be engaged.
