One Way StreetOne Way Street, the puppet resource experts, will host a Puppetry Festival near Huntsville, AL November 2-3 at Flint River Baptist Church. Registration is $30 per person or $26 per person for groups of six or more (by October 23). Check this out if you are in the area and interested in learning more about puppets.

Joy This is a Friday night and all day Saturday event featuring workshops, performances, competition, demonstrations, and more. Training is available for beginning and advanced puppetry manipulation and technique for youth and adults.

Workshops will be offered for puppet team members and puppetry directors. Other topics may include ventriloquism, gospel illusion, children’s ministry, ballooning, music, and leadership.

    Pam and I attended one of these several years ago and it was awesome. Anyone who deals with a puppet ministry or would like to start one should make an effort to go. It is a fun event even if you are not involved in puppet ministry.
