That forced us to use the Teen Worship room for the Awards Ceremony. There were some benefits to using that space: 1. The NYC Staff could get everything set up and be ready to begin as soon as the Adult Service was dismissed. 2. Since the room was smaller, the award recipients were closer and could get to the stage quicker. 3. We didn't have to wait until all of the uninterested adults quit talking and cleared out of the auditorium. 4. The stage & equipment in the main hall could begin to be dismantled. It seems to me that the adults are just as involved in coming to the services as the teens are. However, I know that this is not an entry about competition, but I was wondering why we don't have the awards on Wednesday in the main service hall.
