In other words, what is your philosophy of youth ministry? Is there a plan or a purpose for the activities and programs in your youth ministry?

At times it seems like the primary of function of youth ministry is to keep the kids occupied–a glorified babysitting service. This may not be anyone’s intent, but without a clear purpose and thoughtful planning youth ministry can go in so many directions that nothing substantial is accomplished.
